Bidang Penelitian

Synthesis spin-crossover and related complexes has attracted attention with the aims to obtain new promising materials with functional application for molecular magnetic and switching materials.

Synthetic method: The various material interests are synthesized using conventional solution reaction, preferably non-aqueous solvents in inert-atmospheric systems.

Crystal growing: Several methods for crystal growing are employed for finding suitable size for structure determination.

Structure and magnetic determination: The structure of the complexes can be determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction and the magnetic properties can be measured at variable temperatures SQUID. The measurements carried out in collaboration with experts from Malaysia, Spain and The Netherlands.
